SERIES NOTES:
- This is the 101st all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.
- GU leads the series 69-31, winning 15 of the last 19 meetings, and is 43-11 against SMC under Mark Few.
- The Zags are 24-18 all-time at Saint Mary's.
- In last season's meeting in Moraga, GU won 69-55, in last year's regular season finale. Josh Perkins scored 19 points, Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke added 17 and 15.
- In the latest matchup, No. 1 Gonzaga fell to Saint Mary's 60-47 in the 2019 West Coast Conference Tournament Championship. GU was led by Brandon Clarke with 16 points.
- Gonzaga is 30-11 all-time at home against SMC. GU is 13-4 in the meetings in the McCarthey Athletic Center.
- The last 11 WCC Tournament titles have been won by either Gonzaga or SMC. GU has eight of those 11 titles.
- The Zags are 13-4 against SMC in the West Coast Conference Tournament, winning four of the last five meetings in the event. The teams have met in the tournament nine of the past 11 years.

SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- Saint Mary's is coming off of a hard-fought 66-60 win at San Diego Thursday. Jordan Ford had a game-high 19 points while dishing out a season-best six assists. Malik Fitts recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Tanner Krebs added 10 points. The Gaels ended up shooting 39 percent overall in the win but were just 1-of-15 from 3-point range.
- SMC is second in the country in 3-point percentage (41.7).
- The Gaels reached the 20-win plateau for the 13th straight season with the victory at San Diego.
- Ford leads the nation in total minutes (934:14) and played the full 40 on Thursday. He averages 37.4 minutes per game. The senior tops the WCC averaging 21 points per outing. He is second in the league in free-throw percentage (81.3) and three-pointers made per game (2.6).
- Fitts is fifth in the league at 16.9 points per game, and third averaging 7.7 rebounds.
- Tommy Kuhse dishes out 4 assists per game, which ranks seventh in the West Coast Conference.
