SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- Saint Mary's is coming off of a hard-fought 66-60 win at San Diego Thursday. Jordan Ford had a game-high 19 points while dishing out a season-best six assists. Malik Fitts recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Tanner Krebs added 10 points. The Gaels ended up shooting 39 percent overall in the win but were just 1-of-15 from 3-point range.
- SMC is second in the country in 3-point percentage (41.7).
- The Gaels reached the 20-win plateau for the 13th straight season with the victory at San Diego.
- Ford leads the nation in total minutes (934:14) and played the full 40 on Thursday. He averages 37.4 minutes per game. The senior tops the WCC averaging 21 points per outing. He is second in the league in free-throw percentage (81.3) and three-pointers made per game (2.6).
- Fitts is fifth in the league at 16.9 points per game, and third averaging 7.7 rebounds.
- Tommy Kuhse dishes out 4 assists per game, which ranks seventh in the West Coast Conference.
