SWX and ROOT SPORTS to ReAir Classic Gonzaga Games

Catch classic Zag games on television beginning Tuesday

SPOKANE, Wash. – ROOT SPORTS and SWX will broadcast classic Gonzaga basketball games throughout the coming weeks. SWX will begin with their first re-air on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., while ROOT SPORTS will re-air more classic Zag games starting April 4.
 
SWX will re-air 12 men's games and five women's games, while ROOT SPORTS will show six more men's games 20 times in April. SWX will bring additional re-airs with a week-by-week schedule, while ROOT SPORTS will continue to look beyond its initial schedule. Check local listings for continued updates to the re-air schedules.
 
The broadcasts start with Gonzaga's thrilling 95-89 overtime win over Washington in the Old Kennel on Dec. 2, 2002. Blake Stepp scored 33 points in the Bulldog victory. On Feb. 26, SWX will show GU's women's Senior Day win over San Diego in 2011, which featured Courtney Vandersloot and company.
 
The ROOT SPORTS broadcasts begin on April 4, with the 2016-17 Zag men's rout win at San Diego, which made their record 29-0, before advancing to the program's first Final Four. The ROOT SPORTS re-airs are highlighted by Gonzaga's Sweet 16 win over Florida in 1999 on April 12.
