SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's golf was well-represented in summer tournaments, posting impressive results in a number of tournaments.
Veterans
Jessica Mangrobang,
Federica Torre,
Quynn Duong and
Cassie Kim each had strong showings, while newcomer Mary Scott Wolfe posted a victory of her own.
Wolfe, who will join the Zags as a freshman, took home the title for the Women's Division with partner Victoria Gailey.
Duong placed in a tie for fourth and was the low amateur at the Cal State Women's Open, while Kim equaled the feat with a fourth-place finish and low amateur total at the Northwest Women's Open.
Torre finished second in her native Italy in the XXIV Gran Premio Citta Di Cervia Femminile, and Mangrobang third in the Washington State Women's Amateur.
Alyssa Nguyen placed in a tie for 12
th in the Women's Amateur as well.
In addition, assistant coach
Victoria Fallgren earned a victory over the summer, winning the Washington State Mid-Amateur.
