THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga visits Saint Mary's in the 104th all-time meeting between the programs Saturday at 7 p.m.
- GU leads the series 72-31, winning 18 of the last 22 meetings, and is 46-11 against SMC under Mark Few.
- Gonzaga won the latest meeting, 84-66, in last season's WCC Tournament Championship game in Las Vegas. Joel Ayayi and Drew Timme both scored 17 points.
- The Zags are 25-18 all-time at Saint Mary's.
- In last season's meeting in Moraga, GU won 90-60. Drew Timme scored 20 points.
- The Zags are coming off of a 95-70 win over Pepperdine Thursday. GU nearly had four 20-point scorers (Kispert 23, Timme 20, Joel Ayayi 19, Suggs 18).
- Gonzaga has scored 85 or more points in 13 consecutive games, the longest D-I streak over the last 14 seasons.
- GU is one of the last seven unbeaten teams in the nation, and one of three teams that have at least 13 wins.
- The Zags 17 straight wins dating back to last season is tied for the longest active streak in nation with Winthrop.
- GU is first in the nation in scoring offense (96.0), field goal percentage (55.4), and second in assists (21.0).
- According to KenPom, GU boasts the nation's most efficient offense and 21st best defense.
- Corey Kispert and Drew Timme lead the WCC in field goal percentage and scoring. Kispert also tops the conference in three-pointers made per game and three-point field goal (48.8) and is second in free-throw percentage (87.5).
- Jalen Suggs is first in the conference in steals (2.55). Andrew Nembhard is first in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.87).

- This is the 104th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.

SCOUTING THE GAELS:
- Saint Mary's fell to BYU Thursday, 62-52, in Moraga. Quinn Clinton and Tommy Kuhse both scored 12 points for SMC.
- Kuhse averages a team-high 14.5 points per game. He is second in the conference averaging 5.54 assists and 1.69 steals. He is third with a 2.77 assist-to-turnover ratio.
- Matthias Tass grabs a team-best 5.15 rebounds per game.
- The Gaels are 7-2 at home this season, but have lost the last two, both WCC games, to Santa Clara and BYU.
 
A ZAG WIN WOULD ...
- Be the 23rd straight GU win in January.
- Make Gonzaga 156-17 in January games under Mark Few.
- Extend the nation's longest active win streak to 18.
- Improve Corey Kispert' career record in games he appeared in to 109-10.
