SPOKANE, Wash. – In accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines, and to provide a safe environment for our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and spectators, Gonzaga University Athletics has instituted the following policy related to fan attendance for all ticketed athletic events.
Fan Attendance
- Fans ages 12 and older are required to provide proof of vaccination, including a CDC-issued Vaccination Record Card (or photo of the card) to enter ticketed Athletic events.
- Fans ages 12 and older who cannot provide proof of vaccination may present proof of negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours instead of proof of vaccination.
Beginning Nov. 15th per the updated mandate from the Governor, a negative COVID-19 test result must include the original, a copy, or a photo of a document or other communication from the test provider or laboratory that shows:
a. The first and last names of the individual tested
b. The type of test performed (must be molecular or antigen)
c. The date the test was collected
d. A negative result
- Fans ages 11 and under do not need to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test.
- Fans over the age of 5, regardless of vaccination status, must wear face mask coverings over their nose and mouth while inside the venue. Masks may be adjusted while actively eating or drinking.
- Gonzaga University students can show their valid University ID as proof of compliance with the University's COVID-19 campus vaccination policy.
- This policy will be evaluated as federal, state, and local guidance is revised.
Food and Beverage Service
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the evolving state of the COVID-19 virus in our community and its impact on the in-venue experience at our basketball games. As case numbers have continued to decrease in Spokane, after consulting with the Spokane Regional Health District
we are now able to resume normal operation of food and beverage service in the McCarthey Athletic Center. We will resume in-venue concessions and pregame/halftime hospitality for the following home games this season:
- Men's Basketball vs. Santa Clara – Saturday, February 19 at 6pm
- Women's Basketball vs. Santa Clara – Monday, February 21 at 2pm (limited offerings)
- Women's Basketball vs. Pepperdine – Thursday, February 24 at 6pm
- Women's Basketball vs. LMU – Saturday, February 26 at 2pm
We greatly appreciate everyone's compliance to masking which has helped keep fans in the Kennel this season.
Masks will continue to be required in the McCarthey Athletic Center, unless actively eating or drinking.
Gonzaga thanks fans for their continued support and understanding.
