SPOKANE, Wash. – No. 1/1 Gonzaga men's basketball capped off the exhibition season with a 112-62 victory over Lewis-Clark State in the McCarthey Athletic Center Friday.

Drew Timme led all scorers with 25 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in 18 minutes. He made all seven of his free-throws. GU made 53.9 percent from the field, while holding the Warriors to 34.3 percent. The Bulldogs were 21-of-26 from the free-throw line.
The matchup was an exhibition for both teams. Lewis-Clark State, ranked No. 20 in NAIA, entered the game already winning its first three games of the regular season.
Friday's game was close early. LCSC's Kevin Baker made a jumper to make the score 17-16 at the 13:16 mark of the first half. The Zags then went on a 38-7 run over the next nine minutes and led 62-34 at halftime.
Gonzaga outrebounded Lewis-Clark State 57-28 and had a 62-28 advantage in points in the paint. GU turned 17 offensive rebounds into 31 second chance points. The Bulldogs also had a 17-0 advantage in fast break points.
Julian Strawther added 13 points for GU, while
Hunter Sallis had 11.
Chet Holmgren scored 12 points, pulled down seven rebounds and blocked three shots.
Baker led LCSC with 21 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Oreon Courtney chipped in 12 points.
