SPOKANE, Wash.  — Junior Matthew Hollingworth and sophomore Sasha Trkulja made history with the new ITA Rankings. The two are currently ranked 25th in doubles across the country.

This is highest ranking in Men's Tennis history, surpassing the ranking of 33rd by the duo of Sam Feit and Hollingworth on February 5th, 2020.

The two found early success in the fall season as they captured a doubles tournament title at the first tournament of the season, the Easley Memorial.  The duo later finished second at ITA Northwest Regional Championships and went on to compete in the National Fall Championships in November. 

The Gonzaga men's tennis team will continue competition in early 2022 with the spring schedule coming out at a later date.
