ATLANTA – Gonzaga men's basketball Head Coach
Mark Few was one of 15 late season candidates for the 2021 Werner Ladder Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Friday.
Dayton's Anthony Grant was named last year's Naismith Men's College Coach of the Year. Few received the honor in 2017.
Few has guided the Bulldogs to an incredible 21-0 record thus far, which marks their 24th straight season with at least 20 wins. He also led GU to its ninth straight WCC regular season title. Gonzaga has been riding the sixth number-one rankings in program history all season.
The list will be narrowed down to four finalists in March. The award winner will be announced in April.
