COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Gonzaga women's golfer Mary Scott Wolfe climbed 14 spots on the leaderboard and is tied for sixth after the second round of the fourth annual Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational.
 
The Zags are in sixth place as a team at 24-over (592) at their 2021 event at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. GU was 15-over (299) on Day 2.
 
Wolfe made four birdies and 11 pars in the second round, carding a 70 (-1). She is tied for sixth at two-over (144) entering Tuesday's third and final round.
 
Cassie Kim is tied for 10th at four-over (146). She was three-over (+4) in Round 2, with 11 pars and two birdies. Kim is one-over (4.06) on the course's Par-4 holes.
 
Playing as an individual, Ivanna Montemayor is tied for 21st with a two-round total of 149 (+7). She was six-over (77) in the second round. Chaewon Baek is close behind in a tie for 28th at eight-over (150). She rose six spots on the leaderboard after a three-over (74) second round.
 
Quynn Duong is tied for 38th at 10-over (152). Kaysa Panke (162, +12) and Alyssa Nguyen (169, +27) are 83rd and 93rd.

"Great round by Mary Scott today in a very tough wind," GU Head Coach Brad Rickel said. "Cassie and Chaewon battled hard to post good scores. We still haven't put it all together as a team yet. We will look to have our best team round tomorrow."
 
Sacramento State's Jennifer Koga tops the leaderboard at even-par (142). She climbed 26 spots on the leaderboard Monday, following a four-under (67) round. Four golfers are a stroke behind in a tie for second. Oral Roberts and Sacramento State are tied for first on the team leaderboard at 18-over (586). Santa Clara is a stroke behind in third.
