Since his arrival on campus in Summer 2017, Kispert was the epitome of a Zag: selfless, hardworking, motivated, intelligent and full of integrity and leadership. Over the course of Kispert's four years at Gonzaga University, he found numerous ways to give back to the local community. One of the highlights for the team each summer is getting to spend a day in July at Camp Goodtimes, a week-long camp for children impacted by cancer, hosted by Spokane's YMCA. Kispert has helped bring a smile and excitement to these children each summer since 2017. In addition to Camp Goodtimes, each January, Kispert joined an assistant coach at a local elementary school for their annual Donuts For Dads event, an opportunity to speak to the children about the importance of physical health, mental health, and academic achievement.
Kispert was involved in various awards ceremonies for the local AAU programs in their annual winter tournaments and in Habitat for Humanity builds. Across campus, Kispert was heavily involved in Gonzaga's Bulldog Athlete Ministry (BAM) program since his freshman year, including co-hosting an Advent series on Instagram last fall leading up to Christmas. BAM is a longstanding ecumenical student-athlete ministry program on campus, and an important group that helps to support the faith of our student-athletes. Kispert took advantage of both formal and informal opportunities to make an impact on those around him during his time at Gonzaga and will carry those experiences with him.
