SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Gonzaga volleyball fell to San Francisco in straight sets (17-25, 22-25, 18-25) in the first game of a weekend road trip to the Bay Area Thursday evening at the Sobrato Center.
McKenna Marshall (8 kills) and Zoe Thiros (6 kills) led the Bulldogs (4-14, 0-7 WCC) on offense, with Alyssa Hughes adding four more to go with two blocks on team-high .571 hitting to lead six other Zags who picked up at least one kill.
Thiros also served up two aces, with Keau Kamake'eaina, Viktoriya Ivanova and Danielle Batenhorst adding one more apiece. Alisa Kim racked up 17 digs to lead GU, and Kamake'eaina generated 20 of GU's 25 assists.
