SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's soccer battled back to extend its unbeaten streak to eight matches, after a 2-2 draw with Pacific Saturday at Luger Field.
The Zags (7-2-4, 2-0-2 West Coast Conference) also remain unbeaten in league play. GU fell behind 2-0 at halftime, before scoring a pair of goals in the second half to even the score. The Bulldogs had several close calls at a go-ahead score in the final minutes.
Gonzaga possessed the ball for 56 percent of the match, and outshot the Tigers 23-8, with a 9-6 edge in shots on goal. The Zags had a 16-5 advantage in shots in the second half. GU's
Erin Healy led all players with five shots in the game.
Pacific's Haley Johnson scored her second goal of the season in the 27
th minute. She rebounded in a shot that bounced off the post taken by Hana Rosenblatt. In the 39
th minute, Haleigh Wynne scored her third goal of the season on an impressive volley from distance.

Sophia Braun converted her third penalty kick of the season to get Gonzaga on the scoreboard. Following a few near misses, it was
Willow Collins that evened the match in the 80
th minute with her second goal of the season. Collins struck a shot low past the Pacific keeper into the net.
Grace Courter was credited with the assist.
The reigning national goalkeeper of the week, Brenna Crump made seven saves for Pacific (5-1-9, 0-1-3 WCC). She currently leads the conference with 82 saves.
Lyza Bosselmann had four saves for the Bulldogs.
