Yvonne Ejim secured the University Credit Union West Coast Conference women's basketball weekly awards, the league announced on Monday, Nov. 21.

Yvonne Ejim averaged 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals, while shooting 56.4 percent from the field in a week where the Bulldogs earned wins over Wyoming and No. 6 Louisville. The win over the Cardinals marked the highest ranked win in program history, as well as avenging last season's loss in the NCAA Tournament. The junior scored a career-high 26 points (13-18 FG) against the Cowgirls in Laramie, with her final two points coming with 10 seconds left to provide the final 66-64 margin. In GU's 12-point OT-victory over Louisville at the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis, Ejim logged 13 points and nine rebounds before posting nine points and 11 rebounds in a four-point loss against Marquette in the Bahamas.
