THE TIP OFF
- The Gonzaga Bulldogs travels to the University of San Francisco this Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m.
- Gonzaga is coming off a road win against Santa Clara on Thursday. The team was led by both Truongs with Kaylynne Truong scoring 18 and Kayleigh Truong adding 14 points. Sophomore Yvonne Ejim rounded out the double-digit scoring efforts with 12 and a team-high six rebounds.
- Kayleigh Truong leads the Zags with 11.2 points a game and Kaylynne Truong is right behind her with 10.8 points. Melody Kempton has a team-leading 6.3 rebounds a game. Yvonne Ejim leads the team in blocks with 34 and in steals with 37.
- Cierra Walker is ranked second in the West Coast Conference in three-point shooting percentage as the senior is shooting at 41.6 percent
- Melody Kempton is currently ranked second in the conference in field-goal percentage at 53.8 percent.
- From the charity stripe, the Zags are first in the WCC in free throws made (319). The team is also second in the conference and 21st in the nation in free-throw percentage wtih 76.9 percent.
- Defensively, the Bulldogs are first in the conference in scoring defense with 54.8 points, which is also good for 21st in the country.
- The Zags are averaging 40.3 rebounds a game and a 9.9 rebound margin, which ranks eighth in the nation.
- In conference games won this year, GU has an average margin of victory by 18.6 points.
- Gonzaga and San Francisco met up less than a week ago at McCarthey Athletic Center and the Zags came out on top, 55-49. The Bulldogs were led by sophomore Yvonne Ejim who scored 17 points and eight rebounds.
- Last season, the Zags advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-straight year under head coach Lisa Fortier.
- Gonzaga returns two starters and seven letterwinners from last season's squad that claimed the Zags' fifth consecutive West Coast Conference regular season title.
-The Zags won their ninth WCC Tournament Title in 2021 with a thrilling victory over BYU in the championship game.

LAST MEETING: The Bulldogs won, 55-49, earlier this week on Monday at The Kennel. The game was a rescheduled game due to COVID protocols back in December.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN: The Zags have been 9-2 on the road this year and 11-2 including neutral sites.
IN THE POLLS: GU has received votes in every week's coaches poll, except for two weeks this year.
SCOUTING THE DONS
- USF is currently 13-12 overall and 7-6 in the WCC. The team is coming off a 77-70 victory over Pacific on Thursday, Feb. 10.
- The Dons had two common non-conference foes with Gonzaga as they took on Washington State and lost 72-58 along with UC Davis and won 73-46.
- San Francisco is led by Ioanna Krimill, who averages 17.3 points and 4.3 rebounds a game. Her scoring currently ranks her fourth in the WCC.
- Kennedy Dickie leads the Dons in boards with an average of 6.8 a game. Dickie has also recorded four double doubles so far this season.
- Jessica McDowell-White has had a team-high 31 steals the season while Lucika Kostic has recorded 16 blocks.
- USF is 8-1 at home this year with their lone loss coming from BYU on Jan. 6.
