SAN MATEO, Calif. – Gonzaga women's golfer
Quynn Duong was named to the All-West Coast Conference Team the league office announced Monday. She received the honor for the third straight season.
Duong became the third Zag to earn All-Conference three times in a GU career. Ciera Min earned the honor four times from 2014-17.
Duong completed the season with a fifth-place finish at the WCC Championships. She led the Zags the whole way, finishing in fifth place at eight-over (224). Entering the final round, the senior was in fifth place, tallying scores of 79 (+7) and 71 (-1) in the first two rounds. A score of two-over (74) in Round 3 kept her in fifth, finishing with 34 pars and eight birdies.
Duong had a team-low 74.41 season average in 2021-22, which ranks 12
th all-time in program history. The San Jose, Calif., native, owns GU's top-two lowest season averages 72.85 in 2018-19 and 72.89 in 2019-20, along with the fifth lowest in 2020-21 at 73.35.
Duong is second in Gonzaga history with a 73.45 career scoring average. She has the best career winning percentage in program history at 85.5, along with the best season winning percentage of 89.9 in 2020-21.
Duong had four of her 15 Top-10 career finishes this season. She has 10 Top-5 finishes in her four years at Gonzaga.
