GOLD RIVER, Calif. — The Gonzaga men's rowing team wrapped up competition at the WIRA Championships earlier today. 

In the V8 race, the Bulldogs placed fourth in the finals with a time of 6:02.203 out of six boats. Santa Clara University took first and finished in 5:54.089. 

The 2V8 crew raced in its final today as well and placed second with four boats in the race. The Zags finished in 6:17.86, only behind Santa Clara's finish of 6:15.04. 

Up Next: The Bulldogs will travel to the Western Sprints regatta on Saturday, May 14.
