SPOKANE, Wash. – Four Gonzaga Bulldogs are among the 76 players expected to attend the Microsoft Surface NBA Draft Combine 2022, scheduled for May 18-20 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.
The four Zags,
Chet Holmgren,
Andrew Nembhard,
Julian Strawther and
Drew Timme, were all key pieces to the past season's successes. In 2021-22, the Zags advanced to their seventh-straight Sweet 16, winning 28 games, going 13-1 in West Coast Conference play, and claiming the league regular season title for the 10th straight season.
The Microsoft Surface NBA Draft Combine 2022 is an important step in the draft process for NBA prospects, leading up to NBA Draft 2022 presented by State Farm on June 23.
Players will have interviews with NBA teams and participate in five-on-five games as well as shooting and strength and agility drills from May 18-20. Coverage of the Microsoft Surface NBA Draft Combine 2022 begins May 19 on ESPNews from 12-2 PM PT and transitions to ESPN2 from 2-4 PM PT. The coverage continues May 20 from 10-11 AM PT on ESPN2 and 11 AM-2 PM PT on ESPNews.
The 2022 NBA Draft is set for June 23, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Student-athletes have until June 1 to make a final decision as to whether to remain in the draft or return to school.
