EUGENE, Ore. — Gonzaga track's men's contingent competed for the third time this season at historic Hayward Field for the Oregon Twilight Meet, coming away with four Top-20 times despite late starts and adverse weather conditions.
Cullen McEachern started off the night as GU's lone competitor in the 3K steeplechase, finishing a couple seconds short of his PR set two weeks prior for eighth place (8:57.42).
Of the four Zags competing in a weather-hampered 1500m race that came after, Evan Bates (3:51.16) led the way with a 17th-place overall finish ahead of Cooper Laird (3:52.07, 19th), Ben Hogan (3:52.12, 20th) and Riley Moore (3:54.11, 23rd).
