SAN MATEO, Calif. – Former Gonzaga women's soccer standout
Jordan Thompson was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team Thursday.
Thompson, the winningest player in program history, boasted a 3.96 grade point average while working on her Master of Organizational Leadership. She earned Second Team All-West Coast Conference honors in 2021 and started all 81 games she played in during her five seasons at Gonzaga. The Sumner, Wash., native, was the first-ever Zag selected in the NWSL Draft. She was named first team All-West Region by the United Soccer Coaches, the third Bulldog to earn the honor.

Darcy Woodward were all selected honorable mention All-Academic by the conference. Archuleta, Bosselmann, Braun, Elwer, and Healy were named honorable mention for the second straight season. Archuleta and Braun earned honorable mention honors in 2019 as well.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
