IRVINE, Calif. — Gonzaga volleyball fell in straight sets (8-25, 11-25, 11-25) to UC Irvine in the final game of its California road trip on Saturday afternoon in the Bren Events Center.

Zoe Thiros and Kennedy Croft led the Bulldogs (2-7) with four kills apiece, with Grace Ehler and Alyssa Hughes adding two more each. Ehler and Thiros both connected on a service ace, and Thiros racked up a team-high 10 digs while Keau Kamake'eaina provided 11 assists to lead GU's effort on offense.
