SCOUTING THE BENGALS:
- Idaho State has played six straight road games after opening the season at home in a tie with Westminster. The Bengals' long win was a 1-0 shutout at Lipscomb.
- Gabby Warta and Deborah Pond have each scored a goal for ISU this season, while Rachel Fullmer has the team's lone assist. Warta has a team-high 11 shots.
- Three Bengals have played in the net with Kelsey Jargstorf leading the way with 18 saves, a 1.01 goals against average and a .818 save percentage.
 
HEALY NAMED PRESEASON ALL-WCC:
- Erin Healy was named Preseason All-WCC.
- The preseason team was selected solely by a vote of the conference's 10 head coaches. Erin Healy was named Second Team All-West Region and First Team All-WCC in 2021. She was eighth in the WCC with eight goals last season and 10th in points with 17.
 
ZAGS TABBED FOURTH IN WCC POLL:
- The Bulldogs were selected fourth in the conference's preseason poll as voted by the league's head coaches. - It's the third straight season Gonzaga was fourth in the poll. It matches the best ranking for GU in the WCC preseason poll since 2006, when the Bulldogs were tabbed third, which was the highest position in the poll in program history. Last season, Gonzaga was fourth in the preseason poll, before placing fourth.
 
BRAUN HELPS LEAD ARGENTINA:
- Sophia Braun and her Argentinian national team won the third-place match at the 2022 Copa America. The 3-1 victory over Paraguay qualified Argentina for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
- Braun became the first Zag to ever be on a team that qualified for the Women's World Cup. The 2023 edition is being held in Australia and New Zealand.
 
A RECORD-BREAKING SEASON:
- Gonzaga won a program record 15 matches last season with only five losses. The Bulldogs had 12 shutouts, breaking the program record previously set in 2005.
- GU set the program single season records for most goals (47), assists (39), points (131), shots (387) and shots on goal (196).
- Gonzaga had its best start to a season at 10-1-0, and set a new program record with eight straight victories.
- The Zags were fifth in the nation averaging 9.80 shots on goal per game and ninth taking 19.35 shots per game. On the defensive side, GU's 0.600 shutout percentage ranks fourth.
