Cassie Kim sits in a tie for third place after the first round of the fifth annual Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational.
The Bulldogs are in fourth place as a team at five-over (289). Kim carded an opening round of 68 (-3) Sunday. The senior made five birdies and 11 pars in Round 2. Starting on Hole 1, she was even-par through the front nine, and three-under on the back. Kim led the 100-golfer field on Par-4 holes with a 3.67 average (-3). Her five birdies were also the second-most in the field.
Quynn Duong is tied for 15
th at one-over (72). She was two-under after the front nine and made three birdies on the first day.
Freshman
Grace Lee made a tournament-best 16 pars in Round 1. She is tied for 34
th at three-over (74).
Mary Scott Wolfe is playing as an individual and is also three-over (74). She was one of three golfers to make an eagle Sunday.
Chaewon Baek is tied for 56
th at four-over (75). She made 14 pars in the first round.
Taylor Mularski finished with a 78 (+7), making 11 pars.
Alyssa Nguyen is 11-over (82) as an individual.
Sacramento State leads the team leaderboard at even-par (284). Oral Roberts is close behind at two-over (286). Florida International's Karissa Kilby and San Francisco's Yvonne Shang both top the leaderboard at 67 (-4).
