SPOKANE, Wash. — The brackets for the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis were revealed and the Gonzaga women's basketball team will play Louisville in the opening round.
The Zags and Cardinals most recently played in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament during the 2022 season. GU played a competitive game against the No. 1 seed in their home arena, but came up just short, 68-59. The Bulldogs will go on to play either Marquette or Texas in the next round with games beginning on Nov. 19 and going until Nov. 21.
The Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis had a debut of its first-ever women's tournament last year. This year's field includes Gonzaga, Louisville, Marquette, Rutgers, South Dakota State, UCLA, Tennessee and Texas.
This marks the second year in a row that the Zags travel to a tropical Thanksgiving tournament as Gonzaga just came home from the Rainbow Wahine Showdown in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Bulldogs came back as champions and went 3-0 against Eastern Illinois, Hawaii and Utah.
