THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga welcomes Loyola Marymount in the 100th meeting between the programs Thursday at 6 p.m.
- The Zags own the country's longest home win streak with 75 consecutive victories inside the McCarthey Athletic Center. Auburn is the next closest with 28 straight home wins. Gonzaga's 75 straight home wins are the most in the modern era of Div. 1 (Since 1985). The 75 straight wins are tied for eighth all-time in Div. 1 history.

Malachi Smith led six teammates in double figures with his season high 27 points, seven 3-pointers and a team-leading eight rebounds on Saturday night, and No. 8 Gonzaga used a dominant first half to top Portland 115-75.
Drew Timme scored 18, Strawther added 14 and seven rebounds and
Nolan Hickman scored 13.
- The Bulldogs are 5-0 in WCC play for the seventh straight season, they have been 6-0 the past five seasons.

SCOUTING THE LIONS
- Loyola Marymount opens the West Coast Conference slate with a 3-3 record. The Lions are coming off a 98-84 victory over San Diego Saturday. LMU shot season-bests in all three aspects of the game with 55.2 percent (32-for-58) from the field, 56 percent (14-for-25) from three, and 90.9 percent (20-for-22) from the free throw line. Cam Shelton finished with 17 of his LMU career-high 28 points coming in the second half. Shelton finished a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line in the game to go along with seven assists. Chance Stephens and Keli Leaupepe added 18 and 17 points.
- Keli Leaupepe surpassed 1,000 career points as a Lion in Saturday's victory.
- Shelton is fourth in the conference averaging 18.5 points per game. He is second in the WCC playing 35.1 minutes per game, third dishing out 4.7 assists and tied for first with 2.1 steals per contest.
- Leaupepe chips in 14.4 points per outing and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game, which ranks eighth in the league.
- The Lions are second in the WCC limiting opponents to 30.3 percent shooting from behind-the-arc.

- This is the 100th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount. GU has a 78-21 advantage in the series.
- GU has won 25 straight versus the Lions, and 29 of the last 30 meetings. The Lions last win in the series came on
Feb. 18, 2010, 74-66, in Los Angeles.
- The Bulldogs are 46-3 against LMU under
Mark Few.
