STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific picked up a three-set win over Gonzaga volleyball Saturday inside the Alex G. Spanos Center.
THE ACTION
First Set – Pacific 25-14
- Pacific (12-7, 4-3 West Coast Conference) got out to a 6-3 lead, before back-to-back points from GU, that included a kill by Jody Smith.
- A kill from Grace Ehler kept the set close with the Tigers leading 11-9.
- Pacific followed with a large run to take a 20-11 lead.
- The Zags' (3-15, 0-7 WCC) Nia Damuni finished the set with six assists. Alisa Kim added four digs.
Second Set – Pacific 25-23
- Gonzaga took an early 8-7 lead after a 3-0 run.
- A Kim ace gave the Bulldogs a 17-16 edge following another run to take the lead back.
- The back and forth set featured 11 ties and eight lead changes. The lead was never more than three points.
- Zoe Thiros had four kills through two sets, with three digs.
Third Set – Pacific 25-17
- Another tight start to the set with the teams tied at six early.
- Autumn Larson had three kills in Set 3 and Damuni had five assists.
- Kim finished with four digs in the set.
Damuni finished with a team-high 19 assists for Gonzaga (3-12, 0-4 WCC). Larson led the Zags with six kills, while adding four digs. Kim had a team-high nine digs and an ace.

Gonzaga has a week off before traveling to Portland (6-12, 1-5) next Saturday at 1 p.m.
