SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga men's rowing team will start the fall schedule this Saturday by hosting the Head of the Spokane on the Spokane River. The Zags will race against Washington State. 

Races will begin at 9 a.m. with a second flight starting at 10:45 a.m. Spectators can watch from the Gonzaga Boathouse or at Boulder Beach. 

"This has been a great group of athletes to work with this fall," head coach Dan Gehn said, "They are an extremely tight group and are ready to race this weekend."
