SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's basketball team played its lone exhibition of the season and won 95-32 over Warner Pacific in the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Senior Yvonne Ejim led the way with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Three other Bulldogs also scored in double digits, including graduate students Kaylynne Truong with 11, Kayleigh Truong with 16 and freshman Claire O'Connor with 10.

Gonzaga took over in the first quarter and went up 29-4 after the first 10 minutes. The Zags shot at 68.8 percent and was led by Kayleigh Truong's eight points. GU recorded five three-pointers and held Warner Pacific to a 5.9 shooting percentage. Gonzaga also dominated the boards, 18-3.

In the second quarter, the Bulldogs outscored WPU 23-9 and was up 52-13 going into halftime. Kaylynne Truong led the scoring effort with 11 points with Ejim and Kayleigh Truong right behind her with eight a piece. Ejim grabbed nine rebounds in the first half and Gonzaga outrebounded WPU 33-7.

The Bulldogs closed out the game by outscoring WPU in both quarters, including 27 points in the fourth quarter, to secure the 95-32 win. Overall, Gonzaga scored 31 points off turnovers and 41 points came from the bench.

GU crushed the boards, edging WPU 59-20. The Zags also forced 20 turnovers and held Warner Pacific to a 20.7 shooting percentage. The Bulldogs shot a blistering 54.5 percent from the three-point line and 51.6 percent overall.
