THE TIPOFF
- The Gonzaga women's basketball team travels to Cheney to play Eastern Washington University this Wednesday, Nov. 29. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
- GU is coming off a 2-1 performance at the Betty Chancellor Classic with wins over Alabama (68-58) and Liberty (102-59). The Zags played a competitive game versus No. 20 Louisville, but fell just short, 81-70.
Yvonne Ejim averaged 18.7 points during the tournament after scoring 23 points in back to back games against Alabama and Louisville.
- Five Zags are averaging double digits in scoring including
Yvonne Ejim (18.8),
Kayleigh Truong (16.4),
Kaylynne Truong (11.4),
Brynna Maxwell (12.4) and
Eliza Hollingsworth (10.3).
- The Zags are seventh in the country in three-point percentage at 40.9 percent. GU's 49.3 field goal percentage also ranks 17th.

Kaylynne Truong is third in the nation in assists with 49 so far this year along with 17th in the country in assists point game with 6.2
Yvonne Ejim is also second in the country in field goals with 64 scored this season and
Kayleigh Truong is sixth in the country in three pointers with 24.

Kaylynne Truong was one of 20 point guards in the country named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list.
Brynna Maxwell was also one of 20 shooting guards in the country named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list.

Kaylynne Truong were named to the preseason watch list for the 2024 Becky Hammon Player of the Year Award. Gonzaga is the only team with multiple players on the watch list and becomes the first team to ever place three players on a single list.

Lisa Fortier was recently named to the 2024 Kathy Delaney-Smith Coach of the Year Award preseason watch list. This year's watch list includes coaches from 16 conferences.
- The Bulldogs were picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received eight first-place votes that and totaled 64 points in the poll.Â
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 274-34 (.889) during the last 18 seasons, which includes 17 West Coast Conference regular season titles and nine WCC Tournament championships.

- The Zags won the West Coast Conference Regular Season Title for the 18th time in program history by going 17-1 in conference play last season.s
- Last season, GU had a record breaking performance from the three point line. The team recorded a program record 40.5 shooting percentage, which led the country.
- Last season, Gonzaga advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth-straight year under
Lisa Fortier.

SCOUTING THE EAGS
- The Eagles improved to 4-1 last week after a 64-62 road win over Tarleton State (Nov. 22). Eastern held off the Texans fourth-quarter rally, getting 16 points from Alexis Pettis off the bench and 15 from Jamie Loera. Milly Knowles earned her first career double-double after a 10 point, 12 rebound performance.Â
- EWU leads the Big Sky with 72.0 points per game, while allowing the second-fewest points - 59.2 per game.Â
- Aaliyah Alexander is the Eagles' top scorer, averaging 16.8 points per game to rank third in the conference.Â
- Loera leads the conference with 5.0 assists per game, also ranking 45th in the NCAA. She holds a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio to lead the Big Sky as well.Â
