THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga and Jackson State meet for the first time ever Wednesday night in the McCarthey Athletic Center at 6.
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 76-63 loss to No. 5 UConn in the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle Friday.
Anton Watson led Gonzaga with 20 points.
Ryan Nembhard added 15 points and six rebounds for the Bulldogs.

- The Zags are No. 15 in the Associated Press poll. The Bulldogs' 140 straight AP Poll appearances top the nation.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
- Jackson State comes to Spokane for the first time having won three of its last four games, including the last two over the weekend.
- The Tigers beat Howard Saturday, 81-74, and North Carolina A&T Sunday, 68-60. Both games were in Las Vegas as part of the HBCU Challenge.
- Jackson State finished with five double-digit scorers in the win over Howard, and then Jordan O'Neal led JSU with 24 points against NC A&T. Zeke Cook pulled down 13 rebounds in Saturday's victory as well. Chase Adams dished out seven assists in both games.
- One of Jackson State's wins this season was a 73-72 victory at Missouri on Nov. 19. Ken Evans Jr. led JSU with 20 points, while O'Neal added 18.

- It's the first-ever meeting between the Bulldogs and Jackson State.
- It will be the third of three games for GU against a SWAC opponent in a 15-day span.
- The Bulldogs are 18-0 against current members
from the Southwestern Athletic Conference, and 15-0

- Following the holiday break, Gonzaga and San Diego State will square off in the McCarthey Athletic Center on Dec. 29. It's the first of a home and home series with the Zags making the trip to Viejas Arena next year.
- It will be the fifth all-time meeting between GU and San Diego State, with both programs winning twice in the series.
- The Aztecs held off GU in the last meeting, 72-70, at Viejas Arena on Dec. 22, 2017.
- Gonzaga won the first meeting, 72-69, in the 1959 City of Roses Tournament in Portland. The Aztecs won the second matchup, 79-76, on Nov. 16, 2010, during the third annual ESPN Tip-Off Marathon. In the second game of the 2016-17 season, the Bulldogs cruised to a 69-48 win in Spokane during ESPN's Tip-Off Marathon.
