THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount meet for the 101st time in Los Angeles Thursday at 8 p.m.
- The Bulldogs clinched their 26th straight 20-win season. The Zags' 26-straight 20-win seasons ranks second for the longest active run in the country. (Kansas 32)
- Gonzaga is coming off of an 88-81 win over BYU in Spokane Saturday.
Julian Strawther scored 26 points, including four three-pointers.
Drew Timme added 19 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
- Timme is 47 points from passing San Francisco's Bill Cartwright for eighth points in West Coast Conference history. Timme is 11 rebounds from moving past Przemek Karnowski for sixth place on GU's career rebound list.
- Gonzaga leads the country averaging 86.3 points per game and shooting 52.0 percent from the field. The Zags are also first in effective field goal percentage (.581). Timme is third in the nation with 218 made field goals and is eighth with 549 points. His 21.1 points per game rank 12th in the nation. Timme and
Anton Watson are first and second in the WCC in field goal percentage at 60.7 and 60.6 percent. Watson is second in two-point field goal percentage at 67.1 percent. Timme is sixth averaging 7.4 rebounds. Strawther's 6.6 rebounds per game are 10th.
Nolan Hickman is second with a 2.00 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Anton Watson is second averaging 1.88 steals.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
- After upsetting Saint Mary's Thursday in overtime in L.A., Loyola Marymount fell at Santa Clara Saturday, 71-69. LMU's Cam Shelton scored a career-high 36 points in the loss. Keli Leaupepe added 11 points and 15 rebounds.
- Shelton was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week Monday. He scored 31 points in the win over Saint Mary's. He made 26 of his 51 shots from the field last week.
- Shelton is second in the WCC averaging 20.4 points per game, but leads the league scoring 22 points per conference contest. He is second in the WCC averaging 35.5 minutes per game, third with 4.4 assists and second with 1.9 steals.
- Leaupepe adds 13.5 points per game, and he is eighth grabbing seven boards per outing.
- Jalin Anderson chips in 10 points per game.
- The Lions lead the WCC limiting opponents to 31.4 percent shooting from behind-the-arc.
SERIES NOTES
- This is the 101st all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount. GU has a 78-22 advantage in the series.
- GU has won 29 of the last 31 meetings.
- The Lions snapped a 25-game Zag win streak in the series earlier this season with a 68-67 victory at GU on Jan. 19.
- The Bulldogs are 46-4 against LMU under
Mark Few.
- Gonzaga is 29-14 all-time at LMU and has won 10 straight in Los Angeles. The Lions' last home win in the series came on Feb. 18, 2010, 74-66, in Los Angeles.

DOWN THE STRETCH
- At the final media timeout with 4:21 left in regulation against BYU, the Zags trailed 71-68. From that point until the end of the game, GU outscored the Cougars, 20-10.
- In the final 4:21, Gonzaga was 3-of-6 from the field, with all three makes coming behind-the-arc. The Bulldogs were also a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line over the span.
