THE TIPOFF
- Gonzaga women's basketball hosts Saint Mary's this Saturday, Feb. 18, for the last regular season home game. Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m.Â
- GU is coming off a 69-58 win over Pacific back on Thursday, Feb. 16. The Bulldogs (24-3, 14-1 WCC) were led by
Kaylynne Truong who scored 21 points after making seven three-pointers.
Brynna Maxwell was right behind her with 17 points and made four of her own three-pointers for the Zags.
- The Zags have three players currently averaging double digits in so far this season, including
Kaylynne Truong (16.6),
Yvonne Ejim (16.2), and
Brynna Maxwell (14.3). Truong currently is fifth and Ejim is sixth in the WCC in scoring. Maxwell also is 10th in the conference.
- The Bulldogs are currently shooting at a program record 79 percent from the free throw line, which also ranks 10th in the country.
Brynna Maxwell leads the team individually with 94 percent, which leads the conference. She currently has only missed four free throws so far this year and has made 63.Â

Brynna Maxwell has made a three-pointer in every game so far this season. Maxwell is shooting 50.7 percent from the three-point line to lead the nation.Â
- As a team, the Bulldogs are shooting a school record breaking 41.9 percent from beyond the arc, which is currently ranked second in the country and first in the league.Â
- Gonzaga is undefeated at home so far this year. GU has won the last 19-straight home games, which is the second best home winning streak in the country.

Kaylynne Truong is currently dishing out 5.2 assists a game to rank first in the conference and 25th in the country. Overall, she has recorded 141 assists which is good for 19th in the nation. She has also scored in double figures in 17-straight games, and 24 games total this year. Against Portland, she scored her 1,000th career point in a Gonzaga uniform.Â
- The Zags are 26th in the country in field goal percentage with 45.6 percent. The mark is good for second in the WCC.

- The Bulldogs were picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received nine first-place votes that and totaled 81 points in the poll. The poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, and coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team. Portland received one first-place votes and was selected to finish second with 71 points, while BYU was voted to finish third with 55 points.
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 257-33 (.886) during the last 17 seasons, which includes 16 West Coast Conference regular-season titles and nine WCC Tournament championships.
