Zag senior was second team in 2021 and 2022

KANSAS City, Mo. – After being named second team the past two seasons, Gonzaga's Drew Timme was named First Team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Wednesday.

Timme was joined on the first team by Purdue's Zach Edey, Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis, Marcus Sasser of Houston and Jalen Wilson of Kansas.

Timme, a three-time All-American, was named First Team All-Conference the last two seasons, after being named All-Freshman in 2019-20. He tops the West Coast Conference averaging 20.9 points per game, and second shooting 62.4 percent from the field. The senior is fifth in the WCC grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game, and seventh blocking 0.9 shots per game.

Timme is third in the nation with 272 made field goals and is sixth with 689 points. He is now Gonzaga's all-time leading scorer and has 2,210 points during his four seasons at GU. The Dallas native's 859 career rebounds rank sixth and his 109 blocks are eighth. Timme owns the record for most made field goals in GU history with 869, and his 62.1 career field goal percentage is third. He boasts a record of 118-12 (.901) in his Gonzaga appearances, going 58-4 (.934) in conference play.
