WCC Releases 2023-24 Conference Schedule

Zags open league slate versus Pepperdine in Spokane Jan. 4

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced its 2023-24 men's basketball conference schedule Friday. The race for the WCC regular season crown will stretch over a nine-week span, featuring 16 conference games. Conference play is slated to begin on Jan. 4 and will conclude on March 2.
 
Gonzaga has shared or outright won the WCC regular season title the past 11 seasons. The Bulldogs will look for the program's 27th conference title in 2023-24. GU has shared or won 22 conference championships in the last 23 years, and 24 out of the last 26 years.
 
For the second straight season, the Zags open West Coast Conference play against Pepperdine on Jan. 4, before hosting San Diego on Jan. 6. The Bulldogs then begin a three-game road swing starting at Santa Clara on Jan. 11. GU visits Pepperdine and San Diego on Jan. 18 and 20. Gonzaga hosts San Francisco (Jan. 25), before traveling to Pacific on Jan. 27. GU welcomes Loyola Marymount on Tuesday, Jan. 30.
 
Gonzaga opens the second half of conference play and the month of February versus Saint Mary's in Spokane on Feb. 3. The Bulldogs host Portland on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
 
The Zags are in the Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 15, before returning home for a game against Pacific on Feb. 17. Gonzaga visits Portland on Feb. 22, and then closes its home slate versus Santa Clara on Feb. 24. GU closes league play at San Francisco (Feb. 29) and Saint Mary's (March 2).
 
The West Coast Conference Championships will follow March 7-12 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
 
Gonzaga's non-conference schedule, along with game times and television information will be released in the near future.
