ZAGS SWEEP WCC WEEKLY AWARDS:

Kate Doyle won University Credit Union WCC Offensive Player of the Week while
Lauren Towne claimed WCC Defensive Player of the Week.
- Doyle posted five points in 3-0 wins over Oklahoma and Utah Tech, scoring the game-winning goals in both games. She also garnered an assist vs. Utah Tech.
- Towne amassed back-to-back shutouts for Gonzaga in wins over Oklahoma and Utah Tech last weekend, both by the score of 3-0. Towne recorded five saves against the Sooners and three against Utah Tech, giving her eight for the week.
BACK IN THE RANKINGS:
- The Zags are No. 23 in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25. GU is second in the West Region poll.
- Gonzaga climbed to a program best No. 16 ranking in 2021 after a program-best start to the season at 9-1-0.
- GU has been ranked in the Top 25 only twice since 2006. (No. 20, 9/21/21) (No. 16, 9/28/21).
