SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Gonzaga women's golf student-athlete
Grace Lee was named Preseason All-West Coast Conference the league announced Thursday.
Lee earned WCC Freshman of the Year honors last season. She had the lowest team scoring average in the fall season at 70.58. She finished in the Top 10 in three of the four fall events.
Lee took medalist honors at the 2023 Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational totaling a 200 (-13) setting a new tournament and program 54-hole record. She opened the tournament with an 18-hole record round of 62 (-9).
Following that performance, the sophomore tied for third at the Pat Lesser Harbottle SeattleU Invitational. She ended the fall season in a tie for seventh at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
Lee was the first Zag to be named a women's golf WCC Freshman of the Year after placing fifth at last season's conference championships.
