SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's basketball team held its lone exhibition against the College of Idaho and won 79-39. The Bulldogs had three players in double figures as the team brought in 54 rebounds.
The Zags held a 40-22 lead at the half as the team shot at 48.5% overall and 57.7% from beyond the arc. Gonzaga outscored COI in the second quarter, 20-8.
GU finished the third quarter by outscoring the Yotes, 22-11, to extend its lead to 62-33.
The Bulldogs held COI to only six points in the final quarter as the Zags tallied up 17. Gonzaga also dominated the boards, outrebounding COI, 54-22. Overall, GU shot at 50% and held the Yotes to 28.1%.
