SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – For the first time this season there was a tie for West Coast Conference Credit Union 1 Women's Soccer weekly awards. Marissa Garcia of Gonzaga and Tori Powell from Santa Clara won Credit Union 1 WCC Co-Offensive Players of the Week. Aliya Garrett of San Diego won Credit Union One WCC Defensive Player of the Week after recording 10 saves in a draw against No. 11 Santa Clara.    
 
Garcia scored both goals in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Pacific. She later added two assists in Saturday's 2-0 win at LMU. This is Gonzaga's second Conference weekly award this season and the first for Garcia.
 
Garcia moved into fifth in program history with 22 career goals. Her 56th and 57th career points rank fifth all-time as well. The senior is sixth with 12 career assists.
