- Indiana opens the season 4-1, and fell to the consolation bracket following an 89-61 loss to Louisville Wednesday. Malik Reneau led the Hoosiers with 21 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Oumar Ballo added 11 points and six rebounds.
- Four Hoosiers are averaging double-digit scoring led by Mgbako Mackenzie's 16.6 points at 54.7 percent from the field. He's also made 52.6 percent from three-point range with a team-high 10 three-pointers.
- Oumar Ballo adds 11.8 points and nine rebounds per outing. He's shooting 68.6 percent from the field.

- The all-time series between Gonzaga and Indiana is tied at 2-2.
- The Zags won the latest matchup, 70-54, in the 2008 Hartford Classic, on Dec. 6, 2008.
- Indiana edged GU in the first meeting, 76-75, in the 2002 Maui Invitational semifinals.
