SAN BRUNO, Calif. –Yvonne Ejim of Gonzaga was named the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors after leading the Zags to dominant wins. Gonzaga freshman Allie Turner continued her impressive debut season to earn her third Credit Union 1 WCC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week award. Ejim has two player of the week honors this season.

 
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – YVONNE EJIM, SR. – GONZAGA
Senior Yvonne Ejim posted season highs of 28 points and two steals to go with three rebounds and five assists in leading Gonzaga to a 79-50 win over Eastern Washington. She shot an efficient 11-of-16 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. It was Ejim's 53rd-straight game scoring in double figures and her seventh game with at least 20 points this season. With her scoring total last week, Ejim passed Portland's Laiken Dollente (1,874 points from 2006-10) to move into eighth place on the WCC's all-time scoring list with 1,877 career points.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ALLIE TURNER, FR. – GONZAGA
Allie Turner totaled 19 points, five rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal in Gonzaga's 79-50 victory over Eastern Washington this past Saturday. The freshman hit a career-high five three-point field goals and her point and rebound totals were one shy of her career highs in those respective categories. Turner has made at least one three-point field goal in all but one game this season and has scored in double figures in all but two games. She has scored in double figures in each of Gonzaga's past five contests.
