CINCINNATI, Ohio — Men's soccer player Ben Augee was drafted to the Cincinnati FC in the third round of the MLS draft.
Augee was picked 80th overall for Cincinnati. He becomes the fifth Zag in men's soccer history to be drafted in the MLS.
The Tualatin, Ore., native played in 17 games for the Zags this season and led the team with five goals and three assists. He earned 13 points on the year and recorded 22 shots with nine of those on goal. The junior posted the game-winning goal at No. 9 Seattle, giving the Zags their first win over a top-10 ranked team since 2007. He was named the WCC Offensive Player of the Week after the achievement.
