SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Electric performances from Yvonne Ejim of Gonzaga and Zeryhia Aokuso of Saint Mary's led to them being named the Credit Union 1 WCC Women's Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Ejim was voted Player of the Week, while Aokuso was voted Freshman of the Week. Ejim and Aokuso have each earned Conference weekly honors six times this season.
 
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – YVONNE EJIM, SR., F – GONZAGA
Yvonne Ejim led Gonzaga to another perfect week in the WCC, averaging 18.5 points over two games last week. Ejim had 20 points, six rebounds, and a pair of steals against San Francisco. She recorded her 11th double-double on the season, tied for second in the Conference, with 17 points and 11 rebounds at Pepperdine. Ejim's sixth CU1 WCC Player of the Week award is a Conference-best this season.
