THE TIPOFF
- The No. 15/13 Gonzaga women's basketball team tips off the West Coast Conference Tournament in Las Vegas on Monday at noon versus the No. 5 seeded Pacific.
- GU is coming off a 90-40 win over Portland on Feb. 28 to close out a perfect WCC regular season. Brynna Maxwell scored 19 points to lead all five seniors on Senior Day.
- Gonzaga is on a 34 home game winning streak. It ranks second in the country South Carolina (57). Gonzaga's 23-straight wins is third in the country along with their 28-9 (.935) record.
- GU is currently defeating conference opponents by an average of 30.7 points, which is a WCC record.
- Five Zags are averaging double digits in scoring including Yvonne Ejim (20), Brynna Maxwell (14.4), Kayleigh Truong (12.4), Kaylynne Truong (11.8) and Eliza  Hollingsworth (10).
- Head coach Lisa Fortier currently sits at 262-61 in her career. Among active Division I coaches, she is fifth in winning percentage at 81.1%.
- The Zags are first in the country in three-point percentage at 40.4%. GU's 49% in field goals also ranks sixth. From the free throw line, GU is sixth with 80%.
- Kaylynne Truong is 13th in the nation and first in the conference in assists with 184 along with 13th in the country in assists per game with 5.9. She also is shooting at 44.4% from the three to rank ninth.
- Maxwell has made a three-pointer in every game this season and is 10th in the country with 86 three-pointers made this season. She sits at seventh overall with 45.3% from beyond the arc.
- Ejim is eighth in the country in field goals with 248 scored this season. Ejim has scored double figures for 35-straight games and has scored at least 20 points in 16 games this season. She has recorded 11 double doubles this year.
- Ejim is shooting at 62.8%, which ranks sixth in the country and first in the WCC. She is currently averaging 20 ppg, which is ranked 22nd in the nation and first in the conference.
- Yvonne Ejim has been named to the Naismith POY Watch List, Katrina McClain Top 5 Power Forward Finalist, the Wade Trophy Watch List along with the Becky Hammon Player of the Year Midseason Watch List. She has been WCC Player of the Week six times this season. She was also ESPN's Player of the Week and the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week (12/4). 
- Lisa Fortier was named a finalist for the the 2024 Kathy Delaney-Smith Coach of the Year Award. This year's watch list includes coaches from eight conferences.
- Yvonne Ejim was recently tabbed the WCC Player of the Year and WCC Defensive Player of the Year. Lisa Fortier also won WCC Coach of the Year. Maud Huijbens was named WCC's Sixth Woman of the Year as four players were named to the All-WCC First Team including Yvonne Ejim, Brynna Maxwell, Kayleigh Truong and Kaylynne Truong. Eliza Hollingsworth was also named to the All-WCC Second Team.
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 274-34 (.889) during the last 18 seasons. 
- Last season, GU advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth-straight year under Lisa Fortier.

LAST MEETING: The Bulldogs defeated Pacific twice this year with the most recent win being on the road, 91-78. Yvonne Ejim scored 13 of her season-high 28 points in the decisive third quarter to close out the win.    

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- No. 5 seeded Pacific is coming off a 76-71 win over No. 3 seeded San Francisco on Saturday.
- Pacific is 15-2 when leading at halftime and 14-7 when tallying 70 or more points.
- The Tigers are ranked in the top 100 in the country in five statistical categories with their highest being 28th in assists per game (17.0).
- Three Tigers are nationally ranked statistically. Elliott is eighth in field goal percentage(.614). James' assist average (5.8) is 14th while her total dish outs (174) are 15th and assist/turnover ratio (2.19) is 41st. Smith is ranked 43rd in free throw percentage (.853).
- Elliott and James reached 1,000 career points in the final regular season game against Santa Clara (3/2).
- Three Tigers earned a spot on WCC All-Conference on Tuesday. James was selected to All-Conference First Team while Elliott was named to All-Conference Second Team. Graduate student Cecilia Holmberg was chosen for Honorable Mention
