SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga men's rowing team start their fall schedule this Friday at the Snake River against Washington State.

"The team is ready to get on with the race schedule," head coach Dan Gehn said. "It's been a good fall so far and they are excited to race on the Snake River." 

The racing will be a combination of competition for the Bulldogs.

"The format will consist of a 5k head race, then some personnel switches and back on the water for some 2 minute scrimmage pieces." Gehn added.

GU will also return to Spokane to compete on Oct. 18 at the Spokane River.
