SPOKANE, Wash. – After a nearly 5-hour dual on Saturday at the Stevens Center, Gonzaga women's tennis secured a 4-3 victory over Air Force.
The Bulldogs clinched the doubles point, as

Safien Boulonois survived 7-5.

Brooke Bittner's match was in a tiebreaker when the point was claimed.
In singles, Hesham overcame a 0-4 deficit in the second set to win 6-1, 6-4. Robertson quickly put Gonzaga up 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. However, the Falcons bounced back, defeating
Ella Nielsen, Hayes, and Boulonois to tie it up, 3-3.
For the second dual in a row, the overall match would come down to Bittner. And just as she did
last Sunday against New Mexico, the redshirt sophomore came through for the Bulldogs. In a back-and-forth battle, Bittner outlasted her opponent 6-2, 6-7 (6), 7-5 to secure the dual.

- GU women's tennis is now 5-1 this dual season, with wins over Michigan State, Eastern Washington, New Mexico State, and New Mexico.
- Gonzaga's 5-1 start is the team's best since 2021, when the Bulldogs also began the spring season with a 5-1 record.
- The Bulldogs are 3-0 at the Stevens Center.
- Air Force is now 4-3 this season.
- The Falcons won 7-0 on Friday at the Stevens Center over Eastern Washington, which lost 5-2 to Gonzaga on Jan. 19.
