SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Yvonne Ejim and
Claire O'Connor were recognized for their efforts off the court as the duo were named to the WCC All-Academic Team. Three Bulldogs were also named to the All-Academic Honorable Mention Team including
Maud Huijbens,
Esther Little and
Bree Salenbien.
This is the first honor for O'Connor as she boasts an impressive 4.0 GPA. Ejim has been named to the WCC All-Academic Team for three-straight years and was also named to the Honorable Mention team in her sophomore season.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team and in at least their second year at their school. This year's ten-member team encompasses WCC student-athletes who excelled both on the court and in the classroom.
