SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga's women's tennis team opened its third home match at the Stevens Center, claiming the victory against Colorado State, 4-0.
In doubles, the fierce duo of Gonzaga's
Emily Robertson and Ella Nielson took on Colorado State's Luana Avelar and Logan Voeks, the set ending with the Bulldogs taking the set 6-4. More from doubles,
Diana Yanotovskaya and
Elizabeth Tindera won their set against the Rams, Sorcha Calves and Dylan Voeks, 6-3.
In singles, Gonzaga's freshman
Karla Brown dominated both sets against Colorado's Dylan Voeks, 6-3 and 6-1.
Sveva Zerpelloni faced Leyla Tozin on court five, racking up another lead for Gonzaga, 6-2 and 6-3. A forfeit from Colorado State left the Zags with a point gain.
Gonzaga women's tennis will be going on the road for their next match against Xavier on February 7th at 10 am.
