SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Gonzaga's
Graham Ike was named the West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his 30-point performance against Saint Mary's.
Ike recorded his fifth career 30-point game, second this season, in Saturday's win over Saint Mary's. He shot 11-for-20 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three-point range, and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line. In his return to action, his 37 minutes matched a season best. Ike added four rebounds, an assist, a block and a steal.
Ike is the nation's leading scorer among active players with 2,314 points, and his 1,057 career rebounds rank second. The Colorado native is the only active player with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
Ike has now won this award four times this season and Gonzaga owns six total conference weekly awards this season.
