The Zags blew the lead open in the sixth inning, scoring a single run on an RBI from Bo Shinkle before Mikey Bell hit a three run homer to extend the lead. Tommy Eisenstat drove in another run on an RBI double before immediately being driven in by Jacob Wrubleski in the ensuing at bat. Pacific scored two runs in each of the following innings, taking an advantage of an error to score in both instances.

Haley hit his second home run of the night in the top of the ninth, hitting solo shot to left centerfield. Peyton Miller picked up his first RBI of the year in the ninth inning, hitting a single as a pinch hitter to score a run and set up another run on the next ground out.
