SPOKANE, Wash.- Maddox Haley has continues to get national recognition after a huge week, picking up two more honors from national publications.
Haley was named to Baseball America's National Team of the Week on March 31. He was also named the Dick Howser Trophy National Player of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
In the five games between March 25th and March 30th , Haley had 15 hits, five home runs, and two multi-home run games. Haley was one of only two players in Division 1 baseball to hit five home runs last week. He had nine extra base hits, with four doubles in that stretch. The starting right fielder/designated hitter is currently on an active 14 game hit streak and has a .492 season long batting average. He led Division 1 baseball in total bases, finishing the week with 34 total bases.
