SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga Bulldogs women's tennis team took on the Pepperdine Waves at the Stevens Center but were defeated 4-0.

Back in doubles is the Zags duo Elizabeth Tindera and Diana Yanotovskaya, who battled against Pepperdine; however, the Bulldogs came up short and were defeated 6-4. More from doubles are Ella Nielson and Emily Robertson, who took on Ziva Falkner and Sonja Zhiyenbayeva. The Waves took the doubles point, 6-3.

More from singles is senior Rose Hayes, who persevered through two sets against Duru Soke on court three, the Waves took another point, 6-1 and 6-2. On court four, junior Madeleine MacNeille was matched against Alexia Harmon; unfortunately, the Bulldogs lost the point, 6-2 in both sets.

The Zags will be back in Stevens' Center this Saturday, March 7th, where they will take on Montana State. The match will begin at 11 am.
